i bought an AKG k27i for my PSP :p this yesterday afternoon, the sound effect is great, high mid and low pass is great as i think and i can hear, HI-FI haha

Test it with psp NBA2007, it is great with the BGM, no time to test it with PSP MP3 effect
Test it with MAC PowerBook G4 17', Kingdom of Heaven OST , and i found the power of history,
without testing my PC
